Vilkår og betingelser ved booking af et hotelværelse
Disse vilkår og betingelser er gældende pr. 15. december 2023.
Generelt
Ved booking af værelse hos A Place To Hotel A/S CVR: 34704627 accepterer gæsten de generelle vilkår og betingelser. Det fremgår af bookingbekræftelsen, hvilken juridisk part gæsten har indgået aftale med, hvilken type aftale, der er indgået samt hvor gæsten kan læse retningslinjer for behandling af personoplysninger.
Disse vilkår og betingelser gælder ikke ved erhvervsaftaler, konferencer eller pakke- og gruppebookinger.
Booking og bekræftelse
Alle bestillinger er først bindende ved modtagelse af bekræftelse med et referencenummer fra A Place To Hotel. Bekræftelsen kan gives mundtligt eller skriftligt.
Ved booking fastlægges dato for ankomst og afrejse, antal gæster, antal værelser, værelsestype samt gæstens fulde navn, adresse, e-mail og telefonnummer.
De detaljerede prisoplysninger fremgår af bookingbekræftelsen.
Online booking af hotelværelse sker uden forudbetaling og er dermed ikke en garanti for reservation. Ved onlinebookinger foretaget på hotellets egen webside – aplacetohotel.com – bedes gæsten oplyse betalingsinformationer for at garantere betalingen.
Betalingen for opholdet opkræves først ved check in.
Gæster skal være fyldt 18 år for at booke et værelse og ligeledes for at bo alene på et hotelværelse.
Ankomst og afrejse
Ankomstdatoen fremgår af bookingbekræftelsen.
Værelset er til rådighed fra klokken 15:00 (lokal tid) på ankomstdagen og frem til klokken 12:00 (lokal tid) på afrejsedagen.
Hvis værelset er ledigt, så kan der i særlige tilfælde aftales et tidligere check in.
Vi opfordrer til at oplyse om ankomsttidspunktet i forbindelse med bookingen.
Ændringer, annullering og afbestilling
Medmindre andet er aftalt ved booking, kan afbestillinger foretages indtil klokken 18:00 (lokal tid) på ankomstdagen. Hvis gæsten udebliver uden at have afbestilt eller hvis afbestillingen først modtages efter klokken 18:00 (lokal tid), vil der blive opkrævet betaling for første overnatning.
Har A Place To Hotel udgifter i forbindelse med en reservation, så er gæsten forpligtet til at dække disse udgifter.
Der gælder separate annulleringsbetingelser for grupper – disse fremgår af bookingbekræftelsen.
Bookinger foretaget via A Place To Hotels egen hjemmeside kan ændres eller annulleres ved at kontakte hotellet på 86 86 86 00 eller esbjerg@aplacetohotel.com.
Vi tager forbehold for eventuelle prisstigninger ved ændringer. Det skal hertil bemærkes, at visse tilbud ikke kan annulleres, refunderes eller ændres.
Bookinger foretaget via tredjepart som booking.com, expedia.com, hotels.com med flere skal ændres direkte ved tredjeparten.
Tidlig afrejse
Hvis gæsten checker ud senere end klokken 12:00 (lokal tid) på afrejsedagen – uden forudgående aftale – har hotellet ret til at opkræve betaling for en ekstra overnatning.
Rygepolitik
Rygning – herunder e-cigaretter – er ikke tilladt på hotellet eller hotellets værelser. Vi forbeholder os retten til at opkræve et gebyr, hvis rygeforbuddet overtrædes. Det er dog tilladt at ryge på værelsets altan, hvor der forefindes askebæger.
Kæledyr
Kæledyr er velkomne efter forudgående aftale og skal oplyses i forbindelse med bookingen. Bemærk at hotellet beregner et ekstra gebyr for ophold med kæledyr.
Glemte sager
Vi eftersender gerne glemte ting på gæstens regning. Vi opbevarer glemte sager i løbende måned og to måneder herefter, derfor bedes du kontakte hotellet hurtigst muligt, hvis du har glemt noget hos os.
Klager
Skulle dit ophold ikke leve op til dine forventninger eller oplever du mangler i forhold til din reservation, beder vi dig om at kontakte receptionen hurtigst muligt.
Adgang til hotellet
Af sikkerhedsmæssige årsager så er det udelukkende hotellets medarbejdere og indregistrerede gæster, der har adgang til hotellets værelser og andre af hotellets områder.
Parkering
A Place To Hotel råder over et begrænset antal parkeringspladser og gæster har mulighed for at parkere på hotellets parkeringsplads uden betaling.
Vi tilbyder opladning af el-bil på udvalgte pladser. Priser, information om og adgang til opladningsfaciliteter aftales nærmere med hotellet.
Gæsten bærer alene ansvaret for at parkere efter gældende regler på parkeringspladsen, disse fremgår af skilte på pladsen. Parkering foregår altid på eget ansvar og hotellet påtager sig intet ansvar i tilfælde af ulykker, bøder, tyveri eller skader på person, bil, udstyr og effekter.
Betaling
Betaling for værelset finder sted ved ankomst og check in.
Ved nøgleudlevering debiteres gæstens betalingskort i DKK. Hotellet kan modtage kontanter i danske kroner i dagtimerne.
Hotellet accepterer de mest almindeligt anerkendte kredit- og debetkort.
A Place To Hotel er ikke forpligtet til at acceptere kredit- og debetkort, bank checks, vouchers, kryptovaluta eller kontanter i udenlandsk valuta.
Gavekort
Et kontant gavekort købt via aplacetohotel.dk kan bruges til helt eller delvist at betale for ophold eller varer i hotellets shop. Kontante gavekort er gyldige i tre år fra udstedelsesdatoen og kan ikke ombyttes til kontanter eller benyttes som betaling for forudbetalte ophold.
Opbevaring af værdigenstande og bagage
Af hensyn til sikkerheden for personale og gæster opbevarer hotellet ikke genstande med stor værdi eller genstande, der kan påvirke sikkerheden for hotellets personale eller gæster.
Hotellet tager intet ansvar for ejendele som opbevares på hotelværelset, i gæstens bil, i receptionens værdiboks eller i bagagerummet.
Gæster må ikke efterlade værdigenstande eller bagage uden opsyn i lobbyen, ved morgenmaden eller i forbindelse med check in og check out.
Din sikkerhed
Gæster skal altid orientere sig om placeringen af nødudgange, flugtveje, alarmknapper og brandslukkere – disse fremgår af planche på værelsesdørens bagside. På værelset finder du desuden pjecen ”Velkommen til A Place To Hotel”, hvor du finder praktiske oplysninger om opholdet.
Privatlivspolitik og behandling af personoplysninger
Hoteller behandler personoplysninger afgivet af gæster, der bruger hotellets ydelser og produkter. Hotellet er dataansvarlige for personoplysninger, der vedrører gæstens reservation. Behandling af personoplysninger vil ske i overensstemmelse med vores Privatlivs Politik.

Terms and conditions when booking a room at A Place To Hotel
These terms and conditions are valid from December 15th, 2023.
In general
When booking a room at A Place To Hotel A/S CVR: 34704627 the Guest accepts these general terms and conditions.
The booking confirmation states which legal party the guest has made an agreement with, what kind of agreement has been made and where the guest can read information about processing of personal data.
These terms and conditions do not apply to business agreements, special agreements on conferences, package deals or bookings for groups.
Booking and confirmation
All reservations are valid and binding upon receiving a confirmation from A Place To Hotel. The confirmation can be given in either written or orally form with a booking confirmation with a unique reference number.
When a booking is made the date of arrival and departure, number of guests, number of rooms, type of room and the full name of the guest including address, email, and telephone number are determined. The detailed price information appears on the booking and on the booking confirmation sent by A Place To Hotel.
Online bookings of hotel rooms are made without prepayment and are consequently not a guarantee of reservation. When a booking is made on the Hotel’s own website – aplacetohotel.com – the guest is required to enter credit card information to guarantee the payment.
The amount of the stay will be charged when the guest checks in at the hotel.
Guests must be 18 years or older to reserve a room and to live in a room alone.
Arrival and departure
The date of arrival is stated on the booking confirmation.
The room can be taken over (check-in) from 15:00 (local time) on the day of arrival. In exceptional cases, the guest can make an individual appointment with A Place To Hotel for early access to the room. However, this option depends on the current availability. Therefore, the guest is kindly requested to inform the arrival time when the booking is made.
The date of departure is stated on the booking confirmation. The check-out time is no later than noon (12:00 local time) on the day of departure.
Modifications, cancellation and absence
Cancellations can be made until 18:00 (local time) on the day of arrival. Late cancellations or no shows will be charged in full for the first night of the stay.
Please note that if A Place To Hotel faces expenses specifically in connection with a reservation, the guest is obliged to cover such costs. For group bookings a separate cancellation policy applies. Please see the booking confirmation for more details.
Bookings made directly on the hotels own website – aplacetohotel.dk – can be modified or cancelled by contacting A Place To Hotel by phone +45 86 86 86 00 or via email esbjerg@aplacetohotel.com.
In the event of a change of the reservations price increase may occur. Please note that some offers cannot be cancelled, refunded or modified.
Bookings through 3rd party agents such as booking.com, expedia.com, hotes.com etc. con only be changed by/via the 3rd party agent.
Early departure
If the check-out is made later than 12:00 (local time) without previous agreement, the hotel is entitled to charge for an extra night.
Smoking policy
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted at the hotel or in hotel rooms. The hotel is 100% smoke free, and we reserve the right to charge an extra fee if the smoking ban is violated. However, smoking is allowed on the balcony connected to the room, where an ashtray can be found.
If the fire alarm is triggered by smoking at the hotel, the guest will need to cover this cost in full.
Pets
Pets are welcome at A Place To Hotel by prior agreement and must be stated when making the booking. Please note that the hotel charges an extra fee for stays with pets.
Lost and found
We are happy to send forgotten items at the expense of the guest. Please note that we only keep forgotten items the current month plus two months hereafter, so please contact us as soon as possible.
Complaints
Should your stay or parts of the service not fulfill your expectations, we ask you to contact the reception as soon as possible, so that we can solve the problem or rectify any shortcomings.
Access to the hotel
For security reasons only hotel employees and guest living at the hotel has access to rooms and other areas of the hotel.
Parking
A Place To Hotel offers a limited number of parking spaces. The guest has the option to park in the hotels parking lot free of charge.
The guest also has the option to charge an electric car in selected spaces in the hotels parking lot. Prices, information regarding and access to these power-charging facilities must be arranged with the hotel.
The guest alone carries the responsibility for following current rules at the parking lot – which appear on signs on site. Parking is at the guests own risk in all respects, and A Place To Hotel assumes no responsibility in the event of an accident, fines, theft or damage to person, car, equipment and effects in or on the vehicle.
Payment
Payment takes place upon arrival at the hotel (check-in). In connection with receiving the key to the room the payment card belonging to the guest is usually debited in local currency (DKK). The hotel can accept cash payment in DKK during daytime hours.
A Place To Hotel accepts the most common credit and debit cards.
The hotel has the right to decline certain credit and debit cards, bank checks, vouchers, crypto or foreign cash currency.
Gift certificates
The guest has the possibility to pay for the stay – or items in the hotel shop – in whole or in part with a cash gift certificate paid for or issued via aplacetohotel.dk. Cash gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of issue and cannot be exchanged for cash. The cash gift certificate cannot be used as payment for prepaid stays.
Storage of valuables and luggage
For security reasons A Place To Hotel is not obligated to store valuables or items that could endanger the safety of hotel staff or guests.
The hotel takes no responsibility for the belongings that guests keep in the hotel room, in their car or in the hotel’s safe or locked luggage compartment.
Guests are not allowed to leave valuables or luggage unattended in the lobby, at breakfast or at check-in or check-out.
Guest safety
The guest must always locate the nearest emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers. In the hotel room, placed on the back of the door, the guest will find directions on escape routes in case of fire and find further practical information about the stay in the booklet “Welcome to A Place To Hotel“.
Processing of personal data (privacy policy)
A Place To Hotel processes personal information provided by persons (guests) who use the hotel’s services and products. In addition, the hotel is the data controller for personal information relating to the guest’s reservation. Such processing of personal data will take place per the hotel’s guide for processing personal information.
The guest may read the hotel’s policy on how the hotel processes and stores the guest’s personal information for the legitimate purpose of managing the guest’s reservation and the guest’s rights associated with such processing.
